A MAN from Marbella has created an application (App) for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch to improve communication with people with learning difficulties. Juan Carlos Gonzalez has a son aged three who is autistic, and found that he paid more attention to images on the phone, TV or computer than on paper, but found there were no programmes he could use to help teach him.
He set about creating ‘Ablah’, which has images of food, garments and other objects, to help children learn the names of things.
It is also useful for children with Down’s Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Dyslexia, Communication Problems or anyone who has had a stroke.
